The race for Inter midfielder Coutinho is hotting up.

The 19-year-old was handed regular minutes on the pitch in the first half of last season by then-Inter coach Rafael Benitez, however the Spaniard’s sacking saw less and less playing time for the Brazilian.

And with Inter having added Ricardo Alvarez from Velez Sarsfield, the Nerazzurri believe Coutinho’s long term development would be best served by spending next season on loan.

There are no shortage of Serie A clubs lining up to take the attacking schemer.

Chievo Verona, Cesena, Bologna and Udinese have already declared an interest in Coutinho, while Siena have now appeared as a potential destination too.
