Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is not thinking of leaving Tottenham Hotspur according to his agent and has instead fixed his eyes on a new contract with Harry Redknapp’s men.

The 29-year-old had been a target for several clubs from his homeland who were keen to offer the forward the first team football he has not always benefited from at White Hart Lane.

However, Pavlyuchenko is happy at Spurs and not thinking of sealing an exit away from the club, confident he can play a prominent role in the side’s charge to reclaim a spot in the Premier League’s top four.

"We haven’t talked about Roman’s future yet", admitted the player’s agent Oleg Artemov to Sovietsky Sport, "but I think he won’t leave since he’s willing to stay in London.

"At the time Spurs are in South Africa and when they get back we’ll be able to negotiate a new deal.

"Anyway, we’re not interested in any offer."

Pavlyuchenko is under contract at White Hart Lane until 2013.
