The agent of Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia has dismissed talk about a move for his client as "just rumours" and confirmed that the 25-year-old is happy to remain at Old Trafford.
Valencia had been linked with several Spanish and Italian sides, with Juventus the most prominent amongst them, but Diego Herrera, the player’s agent, has dismissed the possibility of his client leaving United.
"Juventus? It’s just rumours", Herrera told Tutto Mercato when questioned on the transfer talk.
"Some Spanish and Italian clubs have shown interest, but there’s nothing official.
"He has a long contract at Manchester United where he is very happy."
Valencia is tipped to play a big part in United’s defence of their English Premier League title next season. The Ecuador star suffered a serious injury early last season which ruled him out of action until March. Now fully fit, Sir Alex Ferguson will count on his speedy play down the right flank.
