Former PSV Eindhoven boss Ronald Koeman looks poised to take over at Dutch Eredivisie outfit Feyenoord.
The Rotterdam side have been on the lookout for a new coach after previous manager Mario Been resigned and now appear to have settled on Koeman.
The 48-year-old is expected to be confirmed imminently at De Kuip after club insiders indicated that he was Feyenoord’s preferred candidate.
Koeman had been in charge at fellow Dutch side AZ until the end of 2009, when he was forced to leave after a run of poor results.
The former Holland international has previously bossed Vitesse, Ajax, Benfica, PSV Eindhoven and Valencia, in addition to his AZ stint.
