Juventus have completed the signing of highly rated Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal from Bayer Leverkusen.

Leverkusen will receive a fee of €10.5M in three installments from the Bianconeri (€5M this summer, €3M by the end of June 2012, €2.5M on 31st December 2012) but could net a further €2M depending upon Juventus’ performances during the player’s time at the club.

The 24-year-old had declared his delight in the impending move as soon as it became clear he was set to join Juventus, believing it to be an important step in his career.

Vidal was also targeted by Leverkusen’s Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich, but the BayArena side remained adamant that the starlet would not head to the Allianz Arena.

The Chile international has signed a five-year contract with Juventus.
