Real Madrid forward Jose Maria Callejon has declared himself to be focused on the task in front of him in breaking into Jose Mourinho’s plans for the 2010/11 campaign rather than potential signings.

The Spanish giants have been linked with moves for a glittering array of stars this summer, including Neymar, Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez; and the arrival of any would deal Callejon’s hopes of extended first team action a blow.

The 24-year-old Castilla youth product returned to the Bernabeu this summer from Espanyol, with Real Madrid splashing out €5.5M and signing the Spaniard to a five-year contract.

Asked whether he is at all concerned by Real Madrid continually being linked with a plethora of big names such as Neymar, Tevez and Aguero, Callejon told Inside Futbol that he is simply focusing on the task in front of him.

"Signings are not my concern.

"These names are some of the best in the world, but I want to continue to work and leave that issue to the management."
