Juventus boss Antonio Conte is keen on Fenerbahce defender Diego Lugano.
The Uruguayan excelled during his country’s successful 2011 Copa America campaign and this has convinced Conte that the 30-year-old is a player who could strengthen the Bianconeri’s backline.
Lugano is still under contract with Turkish champions Fenerbahce however, who will not be attracted to the idea of losing their centre back.
But the Uruguayan has a release clause of just €3M in his contract in Istanbul.
The 30-year-old would undoubtedly be ready to move to Serie A, although work will need to be done to find an agreement.
Lugano clocked up 28 appearances for Fenerbahce last season in their Super Lig-winning campaign.
