Monaco and Nice are battling for Bayern Munich’s French striker Saer Sene.

According to French daily L’Equipe, both south coast clubs are chasing the 24-year-old and Sene’s spell at the Allianz Arena looks to be coming to an end.

Sene joined Bayern in 2009, but has not been able to progress past the club’s second team.

A product of Paris Saint-Germain’s youth set-up, Sene could welcome the opportunity to return to his homeland, especially with Nice who, unlike Monaco, could offer the striker Ligue 1 football next season.

Sene is the son of notable Senegal striker Oumar Sene, who turned out for Paris Saint-Germain between 1985 and 1992.
