AC Milan vice-president has changed the club’s tone on the so called "Mister X".
"Mister X" is the mystery midfielder that the Italian champions will sign this summer and a host of names have been put forward as possibilities, including Arsenal’s Cesc Fabregas, Real Madrid’s Kaka, and Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger.
And while it does appear that those players, along with Napoli’s Marek Hamsik, were considered by the Rossoneri, Milan have been forced to train their sights a little lower due to financial circumstances.
"Mister X will be somebody who is not yet considered a top player", said Galliani, "we’ll see what will happen.
"We already have a competitive team and we could start the season as we are now.
"When I read the name of some players who are considered our targets I say that’s impossible.
"We don’t have the strength of the Spanish or English clubs."
