FC Barcelona’s Brazilian full back Adriano has expressed his hope that Cesc Fabregas will move to the Camp Nou from Arsenal and also pushed the Catalan giants to rival Real Madrid for Santos forward Neymar.

Fabregas’ future is a little closer to being resolved after Arsene Wenger indicated that a deal needed to be done before registration for the Champions League playoff round, in which Arsenal are involved.

But Barcelona are negotiating hard with the Gunners and it is still less than certain that any self-imposed deadline can be met.

For Adriano the addition of the Arsenal captain would be a big coup.

"If he were transferred here it would be a great joy for all of us", said the Brazilian of Fabregas.

The Brazil international also noted the summer transfer saga enveloping Neymar and expressed his hope that Barcelona would get involved.

"Neymar is the saga of the summer, but he knows what to do", hinted Adriano.

"Even if he was asked he would not answer.

"It would be a very good thing if Neymar came to Barca."
