Barcelona have given Jeffren permission to head to Portugal for talks with Sporting Lisbon.
The Portuguese giants have targeted the striker and look to have come to an agreement with the Blaugrana over the terms of a transfer.
Jeffren must consent to a move to Lisbon though and personal terms will be on the agenda when the talented young hitman touches down in Portugal.
Barcelona are expected to place a buy-back clause in any deal, similar to that which the club recently inserted into the agreement to sell Bojan Krkic to Roma.
This should allow Josep Guardiola’s side to bring Jeffren back to the Camp Nou at any point over the next two years for a set fee.
