Juventus are keen on Sevilla winger Diego Perotti, but could have to battle English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur to snap up the 23-year-old.

Bianconeri coach Antonio Conte is thought to have informed his board that he would welcome the Argentine to Turin and Juventus are trying to understand just how much would be required for Sevilla to part with the exiting young talent.

Conte believes that Perotti would fit perfectly into his plans for a new look Juventus, with the focus very much on finishing in the Champions League places in Serie A next season.

However, Tottenham Hotspur may be ready to offer serious opposition to the Italian giants, with Spurs boss Harry Redknapp known to rate Perotti highly.

The London side had been interested in Valencia’s Juan Mata, but the Spain international wants to move to a club with Champions League football to offer if he does exit Los Che.

And Valencia are not keen on parting with Mata after putting up his asking price, forcing clubs such as Arsenal and Inter to consider whether he is affordable.

Perotti therefore is a better and more realistic option for Redknapp.
