Juventus have had their hopes of signing Diego Perotti from Sevilla dashed after the Spanish club declared that the Argentine would stay put this summer.
Rumours of a €10M Juventus bid for the 23-year-old have been swirling around Turin, but while Sevilla have denied the existence of any bid, they have also spoken out to end any chance of the winger moving.
"We didn’t receive an offer from Juventus", said Sevilla Sporting Director Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo.
"Perotti is not for sale.
"He is an important player for our team and we are not disposed to accept any offer.
"I confirm that Perotti will play for Sevilla next season."
