Marseille boss Didier Deschamps has revealed that Lucho Gonzalez could stay put at the Stade Velodrome this summer.
Gonzalez has been linked with a move to Roma and the Giallorossi have been working hard to put the Argentine midfielder at coach Luis Enrique’s disposal.
But Gonzalez has remained at Marseille for now and Deschamps is hopeful that the 30-year-old could yet stay.
"There’s nothing new to report with Lucho", said Deschamps when questioned.
"He was happy on Saturday, as he was also this week in training.
"He is here and his departure is not certain."
