Legendary midfielder Rivaldo has expressed his concern at the state of Brazil’s national team.
Rivaldo has watched as the South American giants flopped at the recent Copa America in Argentina and the side have also recorded a string of disappointing friendly results.
For the former World Footballer of the Year, the signs, heading into the 2014 World Cup which Brazil will host, are not good.
Rivaldo expressed "great concern" and warned that the 2014 World Cup "could be a disappointment."
The forward also called for coach Mano Menezes to increase the squad and players he selects.
"With the current state of things, it is impossible to win a sixth world title", said Rivaldo.
"Brazil is in a very difficult situation and he must use a bigger squad as soon as possible."
