Arjen Robben has held out the prospect of a switch to Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala at some point in the future, despite confirming that for the moment he remains happy at Bayern Munich.
The Dutch winger has been linked with big spending Anzhi, who look set to complete a swoop for Inter striker Samuel Eto’o, and the Russian Premier League outfit will be heartened by Robben’s comments.
"I’ve heard a lot lately about Anzhi", admitted Robben to Sovsport.
"It’s a team that has a lot of money.
"But for now I do not want to talk about my future.
"I am 27 years old and I am satisfied with everything I am experiencing at Bayern Munich."
However, Robben did hold the door open for a future move east.
"But in life anything can happen.
"Who knows, maybe some day I’ll sign for a Russian club."
