Lyon coach Remi Garde has admitted that left back Aly Cissokho could still leave the club this summer.
Cissokho came close to signing for English Premier League giants Liverpool, but the Reds opted for the less expensive Jose Enrique, snapping up the Spaniard from Newcastle United.
The 23-year-old Cissokho though can still leave the Stade Gerland according to Garde, however only if a pre-determined asking price is met.
Liverpool are unlikely to still hold an interest, but several other clubs are known to have tracked the former FC Porto man.
"The situation is somewhat complicated", admitted Garde to RMC, "because Ali was among those players for whom the door was left open for certain financial conditions.
"But today these conditions have not been met by any interested club.
"But the door still has not closed."
