Lille have played down talk that Eden Hazard and Moussa Sow, both linked with English Premier League side Arsenal, could be on their way out of the club.

Belgian forward Hazard has emerged as a potential target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, while Sow has declared that he would love a move to the Emirates. However, Lille are not keen on losing either this close to the end of the summer transfer window.

And the Ligue 1 champions’ sporting director Frederic Paquet has reassured the club’s fans that no approaches have been made for either star.

"Contrary to what has been read, there is no contact from Paris [Saint-Germain], nor from Arsenal", said Paquet.

"In all cases the official position is that Eden Hazard and Moussa Sow are still at the club and with the club.

"For now there’s nothing."

Belgian starlet Hazard is under contract with Lille until 2015, while Sow, the top scorer in last season’s Ligue 1, has a deal that runs to 2013.

Paquet also confirmed that there is no desire at the club to sell either player, despite the large fees that may head towards Rudi Garcia’s side in the next few days.

"Today there is no desire for both players to leave", added the Lille chief.
