German wonderkid Mario Gotze will not be leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer after Inter were the latest side to show an interest.

The Nerazzurri have watched Gotze’s progress at the Bundesliga champions with interest and are fully determined to rival Manchester United if Dortmund make their starlet available for transfer.

But that will not be this summer according to Gotze’s agent Volker Struth.

"There is no way he’s going to that club", said Struth to Sportitalia when questioned on a potential switch to Inter this summer for Gotze.

"The player does not want to leave the Bundesliga or Borussia Dortmund and wants to remain there this season."

19-year-old Gotze has been lauded within Germany and proclaimed the country’s answer to Lionel Messi.

But while the attacking midfielder may remain with Dortmund in the short term, it will become increasingly difficult for the German side to keep hold of the talent in the long term, with Manchester United, as well as Inter, desperately keen.
