Samuel Eto’o could make his debut for Anzhi Makhachkala against FC Rostov in the Russian Premier League on Saturday.

A fee has been agreed between the Russian club and Inter, while Eto’o has also given the green light to proposed personal terms.

"On Tuesday an agreement was reached between the clubs", read a statement released by Anzhi Makhachkala.

"The conditions are agreed by both clubs and Anzhi want to thank inter for their professional and constructive approach throughout the negotiations.

"On Wednesday the player will undergo a medical examination after which he will sign a three-year contract.

"On Thursday Eto’o will join his new team and begin preparations for the match against FC Rostov."

Anzhi are paying Inter €27M for Eto’o, while the player himself will earn €20M per year, after tax, at the Dagestan club.
