Juventus have admitted that Chelsea’s French winger Florent Malouda is a player the Bianconeri admire.

The 31-year-old has interested the Turin giants for some time, but an opportunity to take Malouda from Stamford Bridge has not materialised.

And if under new coach Andre Villas-Boas there should be that chance, then Juventus would undoubtedly pounce for the former Lyon schemer.

"He is not our player", said Juventus General Manager Beppe Marotta, before adding, "but he is certainly interesting."

Malouda moved to Chelsea in 2007, switching from French giants Lyon for a fee of around €20M.

Despite a mixed start to life in the Premier League, the winger soon showed his quality and won the English title in the 2009/10 season to go with an FA Cup in both 2009 and 2010.

After four years at Stamford Bridge Malouda may be ready for a new challenge, especially if he suffers a drop in playing time under Villas-Boas.
