Alberto Aquilani has moved from Liverpool to AC Milan on loan and instantly declared the switch to be "a leap" in his career.
Inside Futbol revealed on Tuesday that Milan had come to an agreement with Liverpool over the terms of Aquilani’s proposed move.
All that remained were for personal terms to be resolved as the Italian was on a pay packet at Anfield that the Rossoneri were not willing to match.
But now the move is done and the 27-year-old is joining Milan on a season-long loan with an option to buy which will, as confirmed earlier this week, be automatically activated after 25 appearances.
"I am delighted to have arrived here. This is a leap in my career", said Aquilani.
"I have come to Milan to do well.
"The clause of making at least 25 appearances? It’s not a problem for me and I’m not thinking about it.
"I will do everything possible to earn the trust of the club."
