Tours winger Thomas Gamiette has revealed that he would jump at the chance to head to the English Premier League and more specifically Manchester United.
The 25-year-old joined French side Tours this summer, switching from Reims, and while he is fully committed to the challenge, the Guandeloupean player readily admits that he dreams of playing in England and of getting a phone call from legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
"In the future I’d like to play in England, I’d delight in it", Gamiette told France Football, adding: "I also speak a little English."
The former Paris Saint-Germain winger is clear that England is the target for which he aims.
"There’s Sebastien Bassong there, one of my childhood friends since we both lived in the Val d’Oise.
"The Premier League is a different world. I could have gone for some trials at different teams, but I’m not a fan of trials."
And Gamiette readily admits that the dream call from Sir Alex Ferguson would simply be impossible to refuse, despite his plans to help Tours up to Ligue 1.
"Afterwards, if Sir Alex Ferguson calls me, I would not say no.
"Nobody would say no."
