Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is not expecting Carlos Tevez to exit Eastlands before the transfer window closes on 31st August.
Tevez was the subject of a bid from Brazilian side Corinthians earlier this summer, but that failed to go through with the Brasilerao outfit concluding there was not enough time before the end of the country’s transfer window to push through a deal.
And following the departure of Samuel Eto’o from Inter recently, the Nerazzurri have been linked with a late move for the Argentine hitman.
But Mancini, who is preparing his side for their trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, is sure that Tevez is set to remain.
"His family is here now", said Mancini.
"Now that his family is here I think that he can stay.
"I think this is a good moment for this club. Carlos is one of the best players we have."
