Aleksander Hleb is on his way out of Barcelona to Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
The Belarus attacking midfielder spent last season on loan with English club Birmingham City, but was unable to help the Midlands side avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Prior to that Hleb spent a season on loan with Stuttgart after falling out of favour at Barcelona.
Indeed, there is no place for the 30-year-old at the Camp Nou and Hleb’s representatives have been working overtime to find the player a suitable destination.
And they have found it in Felix Magath’s Wolfsburg.
Hleb has agreed the terms of a one-year deal with the Wolves according to sources in Germany and also passed his medical with the club earlier today.
Wolfsburg have yet to reach an understanding with Barcelona, but this appears a formality with the Catalan club desperate to offload the former Arsenal man.
