French striker Andre-Pierre Gignac is holding advanced talks with English Premier League side Fulham over a switch to Craven Cottage.
Gignac is wanted by Fulham boss Martin Jol and Marseille are ready to allow the forward to move to England.
The deal will be a one-year loan, however Marseille are insistent that Gignac’s salary is taken on in full by the Premier League side.
The 25-year-old currently earns €300,000 per month at the Stade Velodrome and Marseille will not subsidise his salary at Fulham.
The Cottagers should be able to afford Marseille’s demands though and Gignac is still tipped to end up a Fulham player before the window closes.
