Aston Villa are on the verge of bringing in Jermaine Jenas and Alan Hutton from Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed that the duo are at Villa Park and in a race against time to beat the 23:00 transfer deadline.
Scottish full back Hutton will join Alex McLeish’s men on a permanent deal for a fee of around £4M.
Midfielder Jenas however is set for a season-long loan and is undergoing a medical with a view to sealing that switch.
For Villa the arrival of the duo is a big boost.
