Jose Mourinho has been linked with becoming Paris Saint-Germain coach in time for next season.

The current Real Madrid boss has endured a troubled time in Spain of late and talk has been growing that Mourinho will quit the Bernabeu at the end of this season, especially if he succeeds in toppling Barcelona in La Liga this year.

And Mourinho’s destination would be none other than French giants PSG.

According to reports in the French and Spanish press, FC Porto President Pinto da Costa indicated at the recent European Super Cup that Mourinho had an offer from PSG.

That offer would see PSG’s owners, the sovereign wealth fund of Qatar, write the Portuguese a blank cheque in their bid to put the Parc des Princes club at the top of the European game.

Mourinho has revealed previously that he could have joined PSG before he headed to Inter after parting company with Chelsea in 2007.

PSG have invested heavily over the summer and now boast the likes of Javier Pastore, Mohamed Sissokho and Jeremy Menez.

Should Mourinho choose to quit Real Madrid then big-spending PSG could be the perfect destination.
