The Spanish Football Federation have increased the length of the country’s winter transfer window.
Clubs from the country had been due to stop business on 30th January, but the federation decided that would allow sides from abroad an advantage with many countries letting transfers run until 31st January.
And so La Liga sides will be brought in to line with the rest of Europe.
"The National Football League informed the federation that as in other countries the transfer window cloes on 31st January, it would penalise Spanish clubs to force them to stop the day before", read a statement released by the federation.
Spanish clubs will now be able to continue their business right up to the Europe-wide deadline of 31st January.
