AC Milan’s chances of signing Carlos Tevez on loan from Manchester City until the end of the season have received a boost.
Sources in Italy have indicated that Milan are feeling confident of snaring Tevez in January, but know they will have to pay City at least some money to oil the wheels of a deal.
The amount the Rossoneri will put on the table is believed to be around €3M – a figure Milan hope will result in Tevez landing in Italy, and have every reason to believe will be acceptable to City.
Competition for Tevez’ signature remains significant however.
Milan’s rivals Inter are thought to be weighing up a move and their offer would be for a permanent move.
Brazilian outfit Corinthians are also still keen, though cash remains an issue.
The odds are still though heavily in favour of a January exit for Tevez.
