Russian giants CSKA Moscow have been linked with former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez.
Benitez has been out of work since parting company with Serie A outfit Inter in December of 2010.
The Spaniard has been repeatedly linked with a number of club and national team jobs, but this far nothing has materialised.
Whether Benitez would be prepared to move to Russia remains to be seen, especially given that Spartak Moscow recently tried and failed to tempt the Spaniard to Moscow.
CSKA Moscow are presently battling Zenit St. Petersburg for the Russian title in an extended campaign as the country’s leagues shift from their traditional schedule to one more in keeping with the rest of Europe.
