Chelsea striker Didier Drogba looks set to end up in either Russia or the United States when he exits Stamford Bridge.
Drogba recently refused Chelsea’s offer of a one-year contract extension and his agent has revealed that the Ivorian is keen to move to the club that offer him the most money, in order to "pay his bills".
Qatar was suggested as an option, while a return to France where the powerful forward played for Marseille before joining Chelsea in 2004, could have also been on the agenda.
But, with the picture clearing, it seems that either the Russian Premier League or the United States’ MLS, will see Drogba showcase his skills.
From Russia, big spending Anzhi Makhachkala are alive to Drogba’s situation and would love to pair the 33-year-old up with Cameroon international Samuel Eto’o.
In the United States however, Drogba is viewed as the perfect replacement for David Beckham by Los Angeles Galaxy.
The recently crowned MLS Cup winners believe a big name draw is needed to replace the Englishman – and Drogba fits the bill.
