Following Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka’s admission that he has a good idea where he will be playing on 2nd January, speculation is swirling that the Frenchman could land at Juventus.

The Bianconeri are known to be tracking Anelka’s team-mate Alex, who had his own transfer request granted at the same time as the striker.

And now sources in Italy have suggested that Juventus will add Anelka to their wanted list, hoping to complete a double raid on Chelsea when the winter transfer window opens.

While Alex would be flattered to end up at the Bianconeri, the club’s chances of signing Anelka are unclear.

The Frenchman appears to have decided on his new destination and, if Juventus are not on his agenda, will take some persuading to change his mind.

The likes of AC Milan, Anzhi Makhachkala, Terek Grozny, New York Red Bulls and Los Angeles Galaxy have all been linked with Anelka, and in recent days the possibility of joining new MLS side Montreal Impact has been mooted too.

A switch to Juventus however would ensure the striker continues to play at Europe’s top table.
