Barcelona B striker Jonathan Soriano has put Swansea City, Wigan Athletic and Marseille on alert after his agent declared the 26-year-old is ready to quit the Camp Nou.
Soriano has been prolific with Barcelona’s B team and top scored in the Segunda Division last season – but the forward wants to move on to bigger and better things.
Dislodging the likes of David Villa, Lionel Messi and Alexis Sanchez at Josep Guardiola’s European champions looks mission impossible and Soriano seems set to head elsewhere.
"Marseille are among the teams interested, but there is nothing concrete", the striker’s agent Jose Maria Orobitg told Fichajes.
"Jonathan has not extended his contract and if he leaves, would prefer to go abroad."
Soriano joined Barcelona B in 2009 after a seven-year spell with the club’s Catalan rivals Espanyol.
The striker came close to signing for Premier League side Swansea over the summer, while Benfica have also run the rule over the Spaniard, as have Wigan and Marseille.
He has also represented Spain’s Under-21 side.
