Former Real Madrid star Guti has confirmed that he could well end up playing his football in China.
The midfielder recently cancelled his contract with Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas and stated his desire to only continue his career outside Europe.
Guti had been tipped to link up with former team-mate and close friend Raul at Bundesliga outfit Schalke, but the 35-year-old has his heart set on heading to Asia.
And China is the obvious destination, with the Spaniard confirming an interest.
"There is a good chance of me going to play in China", commented Guti when pressed on what his next move might be.
Guti joined Real Madrid’s youth set-up in 1986, eventually going on to play for the club until 2010.
The Spaniard scored Los Blancos’ 5000th La Liga goal in 2008.
