Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Niko Kranjcar is attracting interest from Italy.
Bids are expected to arrive at White Hart Lane when the January transfer window opens and Kranjcar is eager to secure a starting spot with Croatia at Euro 2012.
Croatia have been drawn in Group C for next summer’s football festival alongside Spain, the Republic of Ireland and Italy – it is an event Kranjcar will not want to miss.
And for the 27-year-old, a switch to Serie A could be the perfect tonic before Euro 2012 kicks off.
Interested in Kranjcar are Fiorentina and Lazio, with each willing to hand the schemer the regular first team football he craves.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is unlikely to stand in Kranjcar’s way if an offer deemed acceptable is submitted.
