Juventus have added Salomon Kalou to their wanted list as they eye a double swoop on Chelsea.

The Bianconeri are already keen to snap up transfer listed centre back Alex from the Blues, but want to turn that approach into a double raid by tempting striker Kalou to Turin.

The Ivory Coast international has struggled to cement a spot in manager Andre Villas-Boas’ starting eleven this season and has already attracted interest from French giants Marseille.

And Juventus, like Marseille, believe that Chelsea may be willing to cash in on Kalou, and the player himself be willing to move on for regular first team football.

Chelsea already look set to see the departure of Nicolas Anelka in January, with the Frenchman close to agreeing to move to Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua.

The Blues therefore may need to look at another attacking arrival if Kalou is allowed to follow Anelka out of Stamford Bridge.

Marseille are known to be concerned over Kalou heading to the African Cup of Nations, something which has made Didier Deschamps wait for the Ivory Coast’s squad announcement before bidding.

Juventus though are believed to have no such concerns.
