Paris Saint-Germain general manager Jean-Claude Blanc has met with Carlos Tevez’ agent Kia Joorabchian in order to discuss a move for the Manchester City striker.

French radio station RMC have revealed that the meeting took place yesterday as PSG bid to step up their efforts for the Argentine striker.

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani, who has also been working overtime to ensure Tevez ends up at the San Siro, is well aware of PSG’s interest.

However, the Rossoneri chief struck a defiant note, claiming that Tevez wants to join Milan rather than head to Ligue 1.

Money though may be a key factor, with Milan wanting to take Tevez on loan from Manchester City for the rest of the season for free, and a permanent deal would only kick in once certain conditions have been met.

City though are keen for an outright sale in January and want to recoup as much as is humanly possible for the 27-year-old.

This could hand PSG, backed by Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund, an advantage, as money is no object for the French outfit.
