AS Monaco are on the verge of being bought by a Russian billionaire.
The principality club have struggled with financial difficulties in recent yeara that have impacted on their performances on the pitch.
Last season Monaco were relegated from Ligue 1 and currently the 2004 Champions League finalists sit rock bottom of Ligue 2.
But now the French side look set to be rescued by their own white knight in the form of Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev.
The Russian is prepared to inject €200M into Monaco as he seeks to revive past glories at the club.
Current president Etienne Franzi has expressed his hope that the deal is almost done.
"Things are going very well. We have come to present [the proposal] to the DNGC. They know everything and we expect to finalise it."
