Federico Macheda will leave Manchester United on loan in January according to his agent.
The Italian goal-getter has found playing time hard to come by at Old Trafford and, the Red Devils have been warned, his is a situation which cannot be tolerated for much longer.
Indeed, Macheda’s agent Giovanni Bia told Sportal.it that the striker will be aiming to secure first team football elsewhere when the winter window opens.
"I spoke with Ferguson last week", said Bia.
"I believe that Federico will play somewhere else.
"He can’t go on any longer having just 15 or 20 minutes on the pitch. He needs more space to play."
Where the Italian might end up is not yet clear, though there is interest.
"The demand is there, but only from abroad.
"In the first week of January we’ll evaluate the proposals. Macheda’s departure has nothing to do with United’s elimination from the Champions League however."
