The race for 1.FC Koln striker Lukas Podolski looks to be heating up and there are no less than four Serie A sides interested in the Germany international.
Tracking Podolski from Serie A are Genoa, Fiorentina, Roma and Napoli.
There is much attention being paid to the goal-getter from other clubs too, with Arsenal, Zenit St. Petersburg, Lokomotiv Moscow and Schalke all mooted as preparing bids.
Podolski is expected to leave the RheinEnergieStadion next month if any club offers the €15M Koln value their forward at.
With the former Bayern Munich man not having signed a new deal with the Billy Goats and his current contract expiring in the summer of 2013, Koln will definitely sell either in the winter or summer transfer windows.
Where Podolski might end up is unclear, though the player has lavished praise on English Premier League giants Arsenal recently.
One place the 26-year-old will not be moving to however is Borussia Dortmund, after Podolski and the Ruhr side’s coach Jurgen Klopp engaged in a war of words.
