Roma icon Francesco Totti has admitted that he is considering quitting the Giallorossi for pastures new.
Totti is a Roma legend and has never played for any other club.
But his relationship with current coach Luis Enrique appears strained and the 35-year-old has often been overlooked by the former Barcelona B boss this season; it is though the reaction of some fans which is concerning him.
The man who is Serie A’s fifth all-time top goalscorer is not prepared to spend what precious time he has left as a player kicking his heels on the bench and battling dissent, and, following the example of Juventus icon Alessandro Del Piero, who is set to leave Turin in search of first team football, an exit is a possibility.
Asked whether he was considering leaving by Sky Sport, Totti replied: "Yes, especially at the moment.
"If things don’t change I will keep thinking about it.
"If somebody thinks that I am the problem I can move.
"I’m not talking about the coach, the club or my team-mates, but about some fans."
