Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has ruled out adding to his squad in the January transfer window.

Already speculation has been swirling suggesting that Los Blancos may move to strengthen their group in the winter window, especially with a tough second half of the season coming up, where Barcelona will have to be battled.

But Mourinho is determined to keep faith in the players who have served him well so far – Real Madrid can again establish a three-point lead at the top of La Liga if they can beat Sevilla today.

"Well, names are around and that’s normal", said Mourinho about talk that he would be signing new players.

"The transfer market needs this arena of truths and cons.

"Perhaps the names of our players will be mentioned too, but we still intend to complete the season with the same players who started it."

Mourinho also stated his belief that he has "the two best strikers in the world", in the shape of Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain.
