Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua have unveiled Jean Tigana as their new coach.
The former Bordeaux and Fulham manager has inked a two-year deal in China and will be charged with winning the club the domestic title.
And Tigana expressed his delight upon landing at Shanghai.
"I’ve had the chance to coach in England and in Turkey", said Tigana.
"But this is an exceptional adventure, another culture, another country."
Tigana will be able to call upon Nicolas Anelka, who has been signed from Chelsea, while the Blue Devil are also chasing Didier Drogba.
