Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola has revealed that there is no big secret to the way the Catalan giants play the game.

While the all-conquering Spanish side have been analysed to death, with complex and off-beat explanations being put forward as to why the club have enjoyed such success, Guardiola insists that the truth is far more simple.

And it involves pass and move.

"We’ve first got great players", said the Barcelona boss.

"We always analyse our opponents and see if we can use that space.

"There’s no secret. It’s very simple: the players pass the ball around and try to create something by doing that."

Barcelona were crowned world champions at the weekend, when thrashing South American champions Santos in the final of the Club World Cup – yet another piece of silverware to add to an overloaded trophy cabinet.
