Inter president Massimo Moratti has vowed to answer coach Claudio Ranieri’s call for fresh talent in the January transfer window.
Ranieri has brought about a revival at the Nerazzurri, helping the side up the Serie A standings, and hopes are high in Milan that the 2010 Champions League winners will not miss out on Europe’s showpiece competition next season.
But while the former Chelsea manager has done a good job, he has indicated that the squad needs strengthening for the second half of the season.
And Moratti is happy to deliver what his coach wants.
"I am happy with the improvements we’ve seen from the team", said the Inter supremo to Sky Sport.
"The squad is big enough, but I will try to satisfy what Ranieri feels he needs."
Inter are also still involved in the Champions League and face a Round of 16 clash against Marseille.
