Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has conceded that he could move into the loan market to snap up another full back if Kieran Gibbs continues to be sidelined.
Gibbs has been out of action since 16th October and suffered a new blow recently, when he appeared on the verge of a comeback, by picking up a stomach injury.
And that has left Wenger pondering entry into the loan market to bring in another body.
"It depends now on Gibbs", the Frenchman told Arsenal’s official site over whether he would make a move.
"He sees a specialist again today (Tuesday) and if something happens there that he has a real setback then possibly, yes.
"It is not a shop, you just take a good opportunity that is on the market when you can. Overall that’s what we are doing at the moment. We are starting to look at players if Gibbs is not back.
"On the other hand we have good news on Bacary Sagna because he has started to run again yesterday and today."
