Real Madrid are stepping up their interest in Brazilian defender Mario Fernandes.
The 21-year-old currently turns out for Gremio, but has popped onto Los Blancos radar and could land at the Bernabeu sooner rather than later.
Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho is looking to add a right sided defender to his ranks as the Portuguese has been impressed with Sergio Ramos’ performances in the centre of defence.
The highly rated Fernandes however will not come cheap for the Spanish giants.
Gremio are believed to be looking for a minimum of €15M to allow the 21-year-old to head to Spain.
