Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has insisted that he knows nothing of speculated interest from English champions Manchester United.

Huntelaar has been mooted as a target for United, with the former Real Madrid man getting back to the form of old with Schalke and helping the Ruhr giants put together a Bundesliga title run.

The Dutchman is prepared to keep an open mind over any offers that arrive for his services however, despite confirming he has heard nothing on the transfer front.

"I’ve heard nothing about alleged interest from Manchester United", Huntelaar told Voetbal International.

"I won’t speculate. I’m concentrating on Schalke.

"I will let any offers come to me and then see what happens. That is the attitude that I have always had."

The Dutchman also insisted he would be willing to talk to Schalke about an extended contract.

"My contract runs until the summer of 2013. If they want to talk, I’ll gladly listen."
