Juventus are keen on Barcelona’s attacking midfielder Ibrahim Afellay.

The Dutchman has suffered through injury since landing at the Camp Nou in last year’s January transfer window, and there is speculation that he could be surplus to requirements.

Coach Josep Guardiola is believed to be willing to consider offers for the former PSV Eindhoven schemer – news which will delight Juventus.

The Bianconeri are long time admirers of Afellay and boss Antonio Conte could launch a swoop in January.

Afellay is seen as the perfect replacement for Serbian winger Milos Krasic, who is expected to be sold in the winter window.

Whether Afellay is prepared to call time on his Barcelona adventure without having had the opportunity to make a proper impression however, remains to be seen.
